Brass cash register by National, model 452 made in 1909. It is a heavy metal register on top of a wooden base with drawers. I don't know what kind of metal it is. A magnet does not stick to it but it will stick to the body via some steel components on the inside. The drawers do not open. The back of the wood base is uncovered exposing some if the inner workings such as the bell mechanics and backs of drawers.
The register is covered with years of dust! We dusted several years of dust away, but, there are years of dust still left. Since the drawers do not open for us, there may be years of dust and debris in the drawers, maybe even a key or treasure.
- 31" across x 21" deep (not including the drawers sticking out a few inches) x 29" tall
This guy is heavy! At least 100+ pounds!
We fit this into our older Prius with the seats laid down.
Asking $150, some trades, trades plus cash (either direction) considered, nothing walfart. :)
