This is a 1975 Columbia 'shoal' keel 26' sloop. Comes with a main, regular jib, a 180 degree Hild Drifter, and a 150 degree genoa by Sails USA. Has large four wheeled trailer with new 8,000 pound jack and surge brakes. All new LED lighting, stereo and solar charging system set up for 12 volt power. Has external motor mount for outboard motor, but includes brand new heavy duty mount that hasn't been installed.
Currently out of the water at the Grande Maumelle Yacht Club. It underwent a one and a half year total rebuild/paint/new teak wood and fiberglass repair job six years ago.
The 26T was designed by famous sailboat designer Alan Payne - and the theory is that it is 'trailerable' because of it's shoal keel - it only drafts 2' 1" - making it a great shallow lake boat. But taking down the mast can be tough to do, lol. Some people build a bracket setup and use a winch - which would be good - but it's not something you take down and put up for a weekend.
It has a cockpit and a cabin which has two long benches and also has a cuddy cabin. A six foot tall adult can stand in the main cabin. Four adults (friendly adults) can sleep in the boat. It has a porta potty head which is behind a door. All new bronze glass windows (six - three on each side). The cuddy cabin has a roof hatch with a solar powered fan. The cockpit cushions, cabin and cuddy cabin cushions were all made brand new in 2018 of very nice marine material. All sails, cushions and many other things have been NOT stored on the boat. The boat needs cleaning and some minor repairs, exterior teak needs sealing, some interior woodwork has water damage. Great boat for someone that likes to cruise - great party boat! I've rated it's condition excellent because the hard work was done - needs some minor cosmetic work and that's all. I have more photos and short video available.
