This is a great Miata for the home car restoration ace. That was my original plan. Saved this Miata from a fenced field it was in for five years. Rats ate the electrical. Had all that replaced. The car drove great again to Alabama and back several times. The vehicle has been sitting for six months and needed a new battery. I have replaced the battery and the car doesn't start. Could be the starter. So this car will have to be towed to be moved. Tags are expired and no longer on the car.
Things this car still needs work on:
New brakes, shocks, struts.
New battery circuit to the engine (why the car isn't charging the battery)
New body work. Bumps and dings. And after market body kit was going to be my plan.
The tires on this car are new.
The convertible top needs replacing. Sun has done its work.
As a fixer-upper, this car has huge potential. This should not be little Johnnie's first car. She needs a lot of elbow grease yet to make her the belle of the ball again.
But if you are a do it yourselfer in the garage and have been looking for a decent MX-5 to rebuild, this could be the car you've been looking for. $2000 or best offer. If you buy this you'll need to swear on a Bible to send me pictures of the car after being resurrected properly by a real Miata enthusiast.
