Weyerhaeuser is searching for an Electrical Supervisor to join our new Timberstrand facility in Monticello, AR. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position th reports to the Maintenance Manager.
The Electrical Supervisor is actively engaged in planning and leads the daily activities of a team of electricians and contractors in the areas of safety, quality and maintenance of all equipment and buildings to meet the departmental and plant objectives.
The key duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Supervisor include, but are not limited to, the following:
Team Management and Development: Direct the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Electrical team members. Plan daily and long-term work assignments, supervise task execution, provide constructive feedback, and conduct formal performance evaluions.
Safety Leadership and Compliance: Proactively ensure the safety of all trades and contractors by conducting safety audits, leading safety meetings, and implementing upded safety protocols. Address identified hazards immediely and follow up on corrective actions.
Maintenance Team Communicion: Foster effective communicion within the maintenance team and between shifts as well as with production teams. Facilite daily pre-shift and shift handover meetings and maintain detailed communicion logs.
Electrical Operions Oversight: Lead the Electrical team in the installion, repair, and maintenance of mill equipment, ensuring all work adheres to technical specificions and industry standards. Prioritize critical repairs and oversee project milestones.
Preventive Maintenance Program Implemention: Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as SAP to schedule and track preventive maintenance tasks on a weekly and monthly basis. Ensure adherence to manufacturer-recommended maintenance intervals and monitor system-genered reports for compliance.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Apply systemic troubleshooting techniques to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment faults, minimizing disruptions to production. Document root causes and corrective measures for recurring issues.
Technical Skill Development: Assess team skill gaps and organize targeted training sessions using both internal and external resources.
Maintenance Request and Inventory Management: Use SAP to prioritize maintenance requests, manage spare parts inventory, and alloce resources efficiently. Review system dashboards weekly to address backlogs and optimize inventory levels.
Team Leadership and Policy Enforcement: Proactively resolve associe and contractor issues by faciliting open communicion, mediing disputes, and building a collaborive team environment. Ensure strict adherence to site policies and procedures through regular monitoring and fair enforcement.
Interdepartmental Collaborion: Maintain professional relionships with other departments to ensure seamless integrion and operion of mill systems. Attend cross-functional meetings and coordine joint projects.
General Electrical Experience
Candides should possess more than five years of broad Electrical experience, demonstring a strong foundion in the practical aspects of Electrical work.
Supervisory Experience
Applicants are expected to have more than two years of supervisory experience, indicing their ability to effectively lead and oversee team members within an Electrical environment.
Communicion Skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and electronic communicion skills are required. The ideal candide must be adept conveying informion clearly and professionally across various plforms.
Analytical Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
Proven analytical abilities in troubleshooting and problem-solving are essential. Candides should be capable of diagnosing complex issues and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Experience
Experience utilizing CMMS, particularly SAP, is preferred. Familiarity with these systems supports efficient scheduling, tracking, and management of maintenance tasks and resources.
Computer Proficiency
Solid computer skills are necessary, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applicions and Microsoft Project. These skills enable effective planning, documention, and project management.
Coaching and Relionship Building
Candides must demonstre the ability to eleve team performance by building and maintaining positive relionships with all associes. This includes providing coaching and supporting professional development within the team.

Compension: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $82,533 to $123,800 based on your level of skills, qualificions and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times th target.

Paid Time Off or Vacion: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacion to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacion for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
