Has aluminum blades and steel frame.
This is just the louver, no fan.
This is intended to be mounted horizontally in a ceiling but could be mounted vertically in an interior wall.
The blades are hinged and held in place by gravity. When the fan comes on the flow of air pushes (or pulls) the louver open. It falls back closed when the fan is off.
It might could be used as a fixed exterior louver but is not designed for that.
