I have a 16 yr old quarter horse that I have ridden trials on for the last 5 years. I have never had any problems with him out on the trails, he always does whatever I ask him to do. He is 16 hands tall, and I realize I need a smaller horse now. He has loaded easy, but sometimes he gets hard headed when loading. He has never bitten or bucked or kicked.
