For sale is a used Briggs & Stratton vertical crankshaft engine model 31R907-0018-G1 currently mounted on a Ariens lawn tractor that was built by AYP judging by the tractor’s frame design. This engine starts easily, runs well, and while I’m uncertain about overall oil consumption it doesn’t smoke. This lawn tractor was pulled in to the shop for parting out but the engine ran so well that I decided to try to sell the engine as a used replacement. According to the engine’s date code it was built in 2013 (date code 131009ZD). The crankshaft PTO end is 1” o.d. X 3 1/8” long with a 7/16-20 threaded hole in the end.
