Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision. This position will support cleanup and project work, including sorting and counting cans. The project is expected to last until the end of the month.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Shift: 1st Shift – Hours may vary depending on project needs
Duration: Temporary assignment through the end of the month
Job Responsibilities
General cleanup of work areas
Assist in counting and separating cans
Bagging and organizing materials
Perform manual labor tasks including but not limited to:
Lifting and moving materials
Loading and unloading vehicles
Digging and refilling holes
Groundskeeping (mowing, trimming, etc.)
Assisting with equipment operations as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
PPE Required: 6-inch lace-up steel-toe boots
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Dependable and able to follow instructions
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Required: High School Diploma or GED; 0–4 years of related experience
Preferred: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; 0–4 years of related experience
Licenses/Certifications: None required
Work Environment
Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes
May occasionally be exposed to occupational risks such as cuts, burns, or chemicals
Requires motor coordination and dexterity for equipment operation
Frequent physical effort handling objects under 30 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
