For sale -- one 1992 G&L L2000 electric bass guitar with hardshell case. I recently picked this up in a transaction and don't have a need for it.

Swamp ash body with a lovely red stain, maple neck with rosewood fretboard. 1.5" nut (Jazz Bass width). Leo Fender signature decal on the upper horn. The bass weighs just over 9 1/2 pounds.

The micro-tilt on the three-bolt neck works perfectly. I made a slight adjustment after I received it just to see if everything was intact and everything worked just as it should!

The only modification on this bass is the addition of the K-mod switch, which makes the middle two-position switch parallel/single-coil instead of the stock parallel/series. I like this so much better as series mode on these basses was always way too thick for my tastes. The single-coil mode activates the inner coils on the two pickups. The neck single-coil = a very nice Precision tone.

Please note -- a couple of the pickup polepieces are not adjustable. But thankfully, the position they're in is just perfect.

Hardshell case is Fender-style and fits the bass extremely well, but I'm not sure if it's the original (I bought the bass used).

Any questions or photo requests, please let me know as I want to be as transparent and upfront as possible.

$1,800 cash takes it all home.

Thanks for looking!
