I got this guitar with a unique issue. Someone removed the finish on the fretboard, but they also let the stripper leak across the back of the neck. So it stripped off way more finish than they wanted.
Also, there was no pick guard, electronics or hardware.
Since I got it, I sanded all the remaining clear off the back of the neck and oiled it, along with the fretboard, to a SLICK finish.
This now has Fishman Tosin Abasi Pickups. Voice 1&2 controlled with the push/pull, and the 5 way switch goes through all the positions with 2&4 being single coil for each respective pickup.
The Floyd is an original. Not a korean model. This thing doesn’t go out of tune when set up correctly.
I had to level, crown, and polish the frets. I made sure the board and frets were radiused correctly at 16”, so the action is nice and low. Feels super loose and nice where it’s tuned at drop C.
There are a couple of little dings on the body and some surface scratching. All electronics and hardware are new.
I haven’t seen any HH st1 guitars. So, I’ll call this one of a kind.
