I've been playing and studying the bass guitar for almost 3 years now. I've learned a lot and currently play in my church's worship band about 3 weeks per month. The experience has been invaluable, but with everyone's busy schedule, there's no time to just sit around and jam or practice our individual instruments in a group setting. I need and want more.
With that said, I'm looking for a fellow bass player who would like to get together on a fairly regular basis to help each other become better by sharing ideas, concepts, knowledge of music theory, music genres, technique and personal experiences. And of course, to practice and jam together. Iron sharpens iron; let's help each other hone our skills. My goal is to play in a working band on weekends.
The ideal person would be 40-60yrs. old who has some experience playing in a band. Someone who considers themselves to be at least an intermediate level player. Please be easy going with a good attitude and a willingness to help and have fun. I prefer texts as an initial form of contact. We can go from there. Please reply if interested. Thanks. Scott
