I promise it is not to feed to a reptile or harm in any way. A friend of mine desperately wants a pet wood rat. Also known as a pack rat. These are outdoor kind with brown fur, white bellies, and larger ears. Not the Norwegian black rats.
I have a live trap if you have some on your property and would let me trap one. Ideally I would love to get two, a breeding pair, and keep an offspring and raise it from a young age.
