For sale: 2006 Pontiac Torrent SUV. This vehicle has been a reliable family car for us, but it's currently not drivable due to some needed repairs. I'm selling it as-is because I'm in a wheelchair and don't have the ability or funds to fix it myself. It's been parked for about 10 months, so it's priced low for a quick sale to someone handy who can get it back on the road.
Key Details:
Mileage: Approximately 206,000 miles on the odometer. However, the engine was professionally replaced about 2 years ago at around 190,000 miles, so the current engine only has roughly 16,000 miles on it. (The replacement engine cost us $1,500 at the time.)
Engine: Runs strong when operational – the new engine was a great upgrade and performed well before the other issues arose.
Issues/Repairs Needed:
Hole in the radiator (main reason it's been parked – it overheats and leaks coolant).
Needs a new battery (dead from sitting).
One flat tire from long-term parking; the other tires are in okay shape but should be checked.
Interior is very worn from years of use with kids – seats and upholstery show significant wear and tear.
Passenger-side interior door panel has fallen off (I still have the panel, but couldn't reattach it myself).
